Freight forwarder in the Philippines, for imports from Asia
AngkatPH is a Philippine freight forwarder that does one job: bringing cargo from Asia into the Philippines. We consolidate your goods at our warehouses in China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan, ship them by sea or air, clear them through Philippine customs, and release them to you in Metro Manila. You pay one all-in rate, and it's published before you book.
In short: sea freight (LCL) from China starts at ₱8,500 per CBM and takes 15–25 days from our China warehouse. Air freight starts at ₱400 per kg and takes 1–3 days. Duties, taxes, port fees on both ends and warehouse fees are already inside those rates. There's no minimum volume on sea freight. Operated by ANGKAT PH BUSINESS SERVICES INC., SEC Registration No. 2022030045588-03.
What a freight forwarder does
A freight forwarder organises the whole trip your cargo takes from the supplier to your door. That means receiving the goods at origin, consolidating them with other shipments, booking space on a vessel or flight, preparing the documents, getting the cargo through customs, and handing it over at the destination. You deal with one company instead of a trucker, a shipping line, a customs broker and a warehouse.
It's different from a courier, which moves parcels on its own network, and from a balikbayan box service, which is built for personal shipments rather than goods for resale. If you're unsure which you need, see customs broker vs freight forwarder and balikbayan box vs commercial cargo.
What we handle
- Sea freight, consolidated (LCL). Your cartons share a container with other importers’ cargo, so you pay only for the space you use. Billed per CBM, with lower rates as your volume rises. Details: sea freight.
- Air freight. For samples, urgent restocks and small, high-value goods. Billed per kilogram, 1 kg minimum. Details: air freight.
- Customs clearance, included. Philippine duties and taxes are part of the all-in rate, so there's no separate customs bill when your cargo is released.
- Release in Metro Manila. Claim at our Malabon or Quezon City warehouse, or take free delivery in covered Metro Manila areas. Outside Metro Manila, message us for a delivery quote.

If you source from more than one country, you don’t need a second forwarder. The full matrix, including commodity classes, volume tiers and Korea air rates, is on our rates page.
What “all-in” means here
Our rates include customs duties and taxes, port fees in the origin country and the Philippines, ocean or air freight, warehouse fees, tracking, and free delivery in covered Metro Manila areas. Rates are confirmed once your cargo is measured at our warehouse, and billing follows the measured figure.
The one rule worth knowing before you book: every CBM of sea freight comes with a 500 kg weight allowance. If your shipment is denser than that, it bills on total weight instead (₱21/kg on Commodity 1, ₱25/kg on Commodity 2 and 3), whichever is greater. Most consumer goods never reach it. To estimate your own shipment, use the shipping cost calculator.
How to choose a freight forwarder in the Philippines
Whoever you ship with, check these before you hand over cargo or money:
- A registered business you can look up. Ask for the registered company name and SEC or DTI number. A forwarder that hesitates here has failed the most basic check.
- A published per-CBM rate. If you have to ask for a quote just to learn the basic price, you can’t compare forwarders.
- The weight allowance per CBM. A low headline rate with a tight weight allowance is the oldest trick in the industry.
- A clear definition of “all-in”. Duties, VAT, port fees on both ends and warehouse fees should each be named, not implied.
- When you pay. Being billed after your cargo arrives, against an itemised statement, protects you. Paying in full up front for cargo nobody has received does not.
- A physical warehouse in the Philippines. An address you can visit is where your cargo will actually be released.
- A track record you can verify. Public reviews, how long they’ve operated, and anything a third party has said about them.

Frequently asked questions
What does a freight forwarder do?
A freight forwarder arranges the whole movement of your cargo: receiving it at origin, consolidating it, booking sea or air space, handling documents and customs clearance, and releasing it to you at the destination. You deal with one company for the whole trip.
How much does a freight forwarder charge in the Philippines?
It depends on the origin, the mode and the forwarder. Our all-in sea freight from China is ₱8,500–₱11,000 per CBM depending on commodity and volume, and air freight from China starts at ₱400 per kg. Both include duties, taxes, port fees and warehouse fees. Rates for every lane are on our rates page.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. Customs clearance is part of the service, and Philippine duties and taxes are included in the all-in rate, so there’s no separate customs bill when your cargo is released.
Is there a minimum shipment?
No minimum on sea freight, so you can start with a single carton. Air freight has a 1 kg minimum.
Do you deliver outside Metro Manila?
Delivery is free in covered Metro Manila areas, and you can also claim at our Malabon or Quezon City warehouse. For delivery outside Metro Manila, message us for a quote.
Is AngkatPH a registered company?
Yes. AngkatPH is operated by ANGKAT PH BUSINESS SERVICES INC., SEC Registration No. 2022030045588-03.
