How volume and weight work together
Sea freight is billed on the space your cartons occupy. Every CBM comes with a 500 kg weight allowance. If your shipment is denser than that, it is billed on its total weight instead — whichever comes out greater.
The rule: you pay the CBM cost, or total kg × the per-kilo rate if the shipment exceeds 500 kg per CBM. Whichever is greater.
Worked example. 1 CBM of apparel weighing 700 kg. That is over the 500 kg allowance, so it bills by weight: 700 × ₱21 = ₱14,700 all-in (rather than the ₱9,250 volume rate).
Per-kilo rates: ₱21/kg on Commodity 1 (household, apparel, daily goods) and ₱25/kg on Commodity 2 and 3.
Most shipments never touch this. 500 kg in a single cubic metre is genuinely dense — tiles, machine parts, liquids, hardware. Apparel, homeware and most consumer goods come in well under it.

Rates are indicative and confirmed by your account manager once cargo is measured at our warehouse. Where actual dimensions or weight differ from what was declared, billing follows the measured figure — which is why we measure and photograph everything on arrival.
Compare before you book
Quotes are only comparable when you know the per-CBM rate, the weight allowance, and what the “all-in” actually covers.
