Shipping from Yiwu to the Philippines (2026 Guide)

· AngkatPH

Yiwu is where a lot of Filipino resellers buy: small commodities, novelties, stationery, kitchen gadgets and party goods at very low unit costs. The hard part is getting a few cartons from dozens of different Yiwu sellers to Manila without paying for a whole container. Here's how it works with Angkat.

The short version: your Yiwu suppliers deliver to our Yiwu warehouse, we consolidate your cartons with other shipments, and they arrive at our Manila warehouse in 15–25 days by sea. You pay one all-in rate per CBM, from ₱8,500, with duties and port fees already included.

Why ship through a Yiwu warehouse

Yiwu sellers usually sell in small quantities, and a typical order is spread across many shops. If each shop shipped to you separately, you'd pay for a dozen small shipments. Instead, every shop delivers to one address in Yiwu, and your cartons travel together as one LCL (less-than-container) shipment. You only pay for the space your goods take up.

The same goes for online shops. Parcels from Taobao and 1688 sellers are accepted at our Yiwu warehouse too, as long as your client code is on the parcel.

How to ship from Yiwu to the Philippines, step by step

  1. Create a free Angkat Express account. You get your client code in minutes, plus our China warehouse addresses.
  2. Send your Yiwu supplier our Yiwu warehouse address and your client code. The client code goes on every carton. Boxes without one can't be accepted.
  3. We receive, measure and photograph your cartons. Billing follows the measured size and weight, so check your supplier's packing list.
  4. We consolidate and ship. Your goods leave with the next sea consolidation to Manila.
  5. Claim or get delivery in Metro Manila. Pick up at our Malabon or Quezon City hub, or get free delivery in covered Metro Manila areas.

How long it takes

By sea, 15 to 25 days, the same as our other China warehouses, from the time your goods arrive at our Yiwu warehouse until they reach our Manila warehouse, under normal conditions. That includes consolidation, export clearance, the sailing itself and Philippine customs. See the day-by-day timeline.

Two things add time: your supplier's own lead time to deliver to our warehouse (this isn't counted in the 15–25 days), and Chinese New Year, when Yiwu's market and factories close for about two weeks.

How much it costs

Yiwu uses our published China sea freight rates, billed per CBM, with the rate dropping as your volume grows:

Commodity≤5 CBM5–1010–2020+
Commodity 1: household, apparel, daily goods₱9,250₱9,000₱8,750₱8,500
Commodity 2: appliances, furniture, toys₱10,000₱9,750₱9,500₱9,000
Commodity 3: electronics, machines, batteries₱11,000₱10,500₱10,250₱10,000

These are all-in: customs duties and taxes, port fees in China and the Philippines, ocean freight and warehouse fees are inside the number. Every CBM includes a 500 kg weight allowance. If your shipment is denser than that, it's billed on total weight instead (₱21/kg for Commodity 1, ₱25/kg for Commodity 2 and 3), whichever is greater. Most Yiwu goods are light and never hit this.

Put your carton sizes into the shipping cost calculator for an estimate, or read what is CBM to work it out by hand.

Need it faster? Use air from Guangzhou

Our Yiwu warehouse handles sea freight. If you need stock in days rather than weeks, air freight from China runs through our Guangzhou warehouse, 5–7 days to Manila, billed per kilo from ₱400 to ₱490 for ordinary goods depending on weight. See sea vs air to decide.

You don't have to route anything through Yiwu first. Just give your Yiwu supplier our Guangzhou warehouse address with your client code, and the goods go straight onto air freight from there.
